In partnership with Pawsitive Links Society, Trapping Creek Ranch is raising two Labrador Retriever puppies: Phoenix and Gadget. Both puppies and their raisers were specially chosen to work together in a unique program developed in the North. After 12 months of love & training these puppies will be ready for selected children with developmental disabilities their own therapeutic assistance dog.
Gadget an 8 week old black Labrador Retriever was placed with his care giver Pete at the TC Ranch in Prince George. For approximately 12 months Gadget will receive the necessary socialization, training and love from Pete. Pete will keep us up to date on Gadget’s progress.
Phoenix
Phoenix is maturing into a fine dog. At 9 months of age his care giver is now working on the ‘find it game’ as Phoenix may have the potential to be a detection dog.
